JumpBox for Trac

Trac is an advanced tool for managing software development projects. It provides a simple wiki, issue tracking system and tight integration with the Subversion revision control system. It’s a great system, JumpBox uses it for our development, but it’s also notorious for being hard to install and doubly so for those trying to install it on Windows. With the JumpBox for Trac, it takes about a minute to get running regardless of whether you’re using Windows, Mac OS X or Linux. Plus with the built-in subversion and database backup system and the JumpBox web based administration console, it gives you all the basic tools you need to put it into production without ever touching a command line. This is our most popular JumpBox we have and for good reason. Go try to manually install a production Trac installation on Windows and then come back to us in a few days after its pounded you into submission. There’s no clearer example of the value of a JumpBox. This JumpBox will save you days of effort.

Frequently Asked Questions About JumpBox Purchases

Can I get my money back if I'm dissatisfied?

Yes you can. JumpBox stands behind our products and offers a 15 day money back guarantee for all individual JumpBox and JumpBox Open Subscription purchases.

What does purchasing a license get me?

A license entitles you to run a single instance of a JumpBox virtual machine and to get new versions of that JumpBox for a period of one year. If you have a trial download, a license will enable the restricted features of the JumpBox, this includes the JumpBox Backup System, the ability to turn on SSH access and the ability to remove the JumpBox navigation bar. It also allows you to move from an older version of the JumpBox to a newer one.

How do you define an instance?

Your JumpBox license will allow you to run one production instance of the JumpBox. A production instance is defined as a single long running copy of a JumpBox virtual machine. Running multiple copies for experimentation and testing or to perform an upgrade migration is perfectly acceptable. If you need to run more than one production instance of any JumpBox, additional licenses can be purchased separately.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover as well as Paypal and Google Checkout. You can also pay by direct bank transfer with order fulfillment subject to delay while waiting for funds to clear.

How long does it take to receive my purchase?

You'll typically receive your license keys and links to downloads within a few minutes of placing an order. However, if the email doesn't arrive right away things may be a little backed up. If you don't receive your order within 24 hours please contact us and we'll take care of it. If you pay using Google Checkout there is always a 15 minute delay imposed by the Google Checkout system. For best service please make sure your SPAM filtering allows email from jumpbox.com.
